CBS, ABC and NBS simultaneously devoted 1 hour to raise funds for the fight against cancer. The spectacular line up of talent included Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Meryl Streep, David Cook, Christina Applegate, Lance Armstrong, Jack Black, Kirsten Dunst, Charles Barkley, America Ferrera, Halle Berry, Hilary Swank, Forrest Whitaker, Jimmy Fallon, Keanu Reeves.

Our fundraiser event venue, The Prudential Center, is scheduled to be re-opened shortly. In light of the temporary Pru Center closure reported July 11th, 1010WINS and ComedyCures have agreed to immediately reschedule "The ComedyCures Casino and Comedy Night."  Because of the overwhelming demand to attend this ComedyCures fundraiser, we will post the rescheduled date shortly. Comedy Pavilion to Showcase and Promote Comedy Programming Across All Platforms Los Angeles, January 12, 2006 - Laughter will be in the spotlight on the exhibit floor at the 2006 NATPE Conference & Exhibition being held January 24-26 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas with the inaugural opening of the Comedy Pavilion.

January 24-28: ComedyCures receives "The Jerry Lewis Humanitarian and Humor Award" at Las Vegas Comedy Festival.  Rain Pryor, Saranne Rothberg, Jonathan Winters & Soupy Sales were honored at a comedy gala held in memory of comedian Richard Pryor

January 12: "The Funniest Reporter on the Planet" contest at The Laugh Factory.  

Jamie Masada owner of the World Famous Laugh Factory, the celebrated clubs in both NYC and LA has thrown down the comedic gauntlet so to speak by asking the world “who is the funniest reporter on the planet?”  Masada is holding a contest at his two clubs to finally answer the age old question of who is the most jocular journalist, the silliest scribe, the wittiest writer or …THE FUNNIEST REPORTER ON THE PLANET with the proceeds going to The ComedyCures Foundation, a non-profit entertainment organization providing therapeutic humor programs for kids and grown-ups living with illness, depression, trauma and disabilities.

September 28: “Englewood Kids for Katrina Relief”

Mayor Michael Wildes and ComedyCures have joined together to help Englewood Elementary School children bring support to families impacted by Hurricane Katrina. ComedyCures will produce a one-of-a-kind therapeutic comedy program with special guests The Harlem Wizards and one man circus Karl Saliter. There will also be a very special guest performance by New Orleans trombonist Darrell Walker. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the families impacted by Katrina.
